today we went to the temple of Hatsheput - the only woman pharoah who dressed as a man and ruled for over 20 years -then to the valley of the kings -how wonderful to be there - we went into 3 tombs - the colour is still there and magnificant after all this time.

yesterday i rode a donkey we laughed all the way as the donkeys were in control - through the local neighbourhood - very poor - dirt streets - but the children were waving and it was good - then dinner at a local egyptian restaurant -beautiful food. then a local taxi back across the river. no oh&s here - or public risk insur - the guy pulled up beside a boat at the dock and we unloaded and walked across the other boat and onto the pier.

i love all of this - i am having the best time.

Hi everyone - I am In dubai just waiting on my flight to cairo - another couple of hours. flight has been great so far - the sky beds are wonderful, and I even slept a couple of hours between singapore and dubai which for me is great.
melb-singaport i read a book - the murder of king tut - by james pattison - very appropriate but good book
I have a shower each time we stop so am feeling pretty good.
next stop Cairo - still getting used to the mini computer so you may not get much punctuation.
